One Fast Move
KJ Apa (“Riverdale”) has signed on to star in writer/director Kelly Blatz’s motorcycle racing feature “One Fast Move” from Gulfstream Pictures. Filming begins in Atlanta later this month.
Apa plays a dishonourably discharged soldier seeking out his estranged father to help him pursue his dream of racing Supersport motorcycles. He meets a small-town aspiring singer who begins to break down the walls his father’s absence had built up. [Source: Deadline]
The Last Manhunt
Saban Films has landed worldwide distribution rights to Jason Momoa’s forthcoming true story western “The Last Manhunt” which boasts a largely Native American ensemble cast. Christian Camargo directs form a script by Thomas Pa’a Sibbett. A November release is planned.
Set in 1909, Willie Boy (Momoa) accidentally shoots his sweetheart’s father after a confrontation gone wrong. With President Taft coming to town, a local sheriff leads two Native American trackers seeking justice for their fallen tribal leader. [Source: Variety]

Andrew Dominik’s documentary “This Much I Know to Be True” has set a July 8th premiere on the streaming service MUBI.
